About

I transitioned into data science in 2021 after earning my PhD in Physics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2018 and then spending three years as a postdoc at the Kadanoff Center for Theoretical Physics at University of Chicago.

I’m fascinated by many areas of statistics including the design and analysis of experiments, causal inference, and machine learning. I plan to use this blog to discuss topics that I find interesting and that I hope will be of interest to other data scientists.

In my spare time I like to enjoy the outdoors with my wife and our horses, play the guitar, read, and continue to explore different areas of physics.
